Class 2 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Location: Blackburn | £16 per hour | Class 2 driver</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Siamo Group are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our client’s operation in Blackburn, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands-on delivery role involving multi-drop work to a variety of customers, including pubs, supermarkets and events.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be responsible for making sure deliveries arrive safely, on schedule and to a high standard, while providing a professional and friendly service to customers. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday - flexibility required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Start Times: From 5:00am onwards, depending on the shift</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What You'll Be Doing</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Safely transport and deliver goods to customers within agreed delivery times.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete multi-drop deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work alongside warehouse and transport colleagues to keep the operation running efficiently.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assist with loading, unloading and general yard duties when required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any faults, damage or incidents immediately.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure all driving activity complies with legal</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements, including drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations.</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Deal professionally with any delivery problems and report issues to the relevant transport or customer service team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Follow all company procedures relating to health and safety, security and transport operations.Qualifications and must have's:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A valid Category C (Class 2) Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A valid Driver CPC qualification.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A valid Digital Tachograph Card.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">At least 12 months' experience driving Class 2 vehicles, ideally within a multi-drop environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable working to tight delivery schedules.</p>
