Van Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for several dedicated multi-drop van drivers to join the team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Wednesday to Sunday</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours: between 09:00am - 10:00am starts (Sunday is 08:00am)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour PAYE</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Location: Carlisle, CA6 4RD</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver parcels</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Drivers may be required to do door to door (50-100) or lockers (100+)</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Positively representing the brand, maintaining a clean vehicle and being a courteous driver.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Safe loading and unloading of parcels on to a van.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Delivery of products, goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set timeframes.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation, if necessary and deliver high standards of customer care.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver shipments</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A valid UK driver's license.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Multi- drop experience (preferable)</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong communication and customer service skills.</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent time management and organisational skills.</p>
