<p class="text-muted mb-3">Overview:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV & Light Vehicle Technician to join a growing commercial vehicle workshop in Peterborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a range of vehicles and trailers. Diagnostic experience is advantageous, and HGV licence training may be available after 6 months.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Service, maintain and repair HGVs, light vehicles and trailers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prepare vehicles for MOT.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Attend roadside breakdowns and disabled vehicles.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete job cards and service documentation accurately.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaise with the parts department to source required parts.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain high standards of cleanliness and workshop safety.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Follow all Health & Safety and customer site</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and attend training courses.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Skills and Experience:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance, or proven relevant experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous motor trade experience within the last 2 years.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience working on HGVs and/or light vehicles.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full UK Driving Licence.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">HGV Licence desirable but not essential.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good communication and customer service skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Flexible approach to working hours and duties.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Own tools required.</p>
