<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours: Around 30 per week (Mon-Fri)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Contract: Temporary</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Gi Group are recruiting for a reliable Warehouse Operative / Van Driver to join a busy operation supporting both warehouse duties and local multi-drop deliveries.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who's happy switching between picking/packing and driving as needed.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Warehouse duties (primary):</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Picking and packing orders accurately to deadlines</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Goods in/out: receiving deliveries, checking paperwork, stock put-away</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading/unloading vehicles (manual handling involved)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Stock control, labelling, and maintaining tidy storage areas</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Using handheld scanners / warehouse systems (where required)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and compliant with H&S proceduresVan driving duties (as required):</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Completing local deliveries and collections in a company van</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring deliveries are made on time with proof of delivery captured</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Planning routes efficiently and communicating delays when needed</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Basic vehicle checks (fuel, tyres, lights, cleanliness) and reporting defects</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Safe loading of the van and securing items to prevent damage</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Required Experience & Skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven warehouse experience (picking/packing, goods in/out, loading)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven van driving experience (commercial delivery experience preferred)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full UK driving licence (Category B) - essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good attention to detail and accuracy</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong timekeeping and a dependable work ethic</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Confident communicating with colleagues and customers at delivery points</p>
