Apex Resources is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Container Drivers (Category C+E) for ongoing work in Leeds and the surrounding areas, with immediate starts available!

Your

Role and Responsibilities

As a Class 1 Container Driver, your duties will include:

• Driving Class 1 articulated HGV vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Transporting containers to and from designated locations.
• Completing collections and deliveries in line with schedules.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Ensuring loads are handled safely and correctly.
• Complying with drivers’ hours, tachograph

requirements and road transport regulations.

• Completing relevant paperwork accurately.
• Maintaining a professional attitude when dealing with customers and site personnel.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A minimum of 6 months’ Class 1 container driving experience.
• A valid Category C+E driving licence.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• A good understanding of UK road transport regulations and drivers’ hours.
• A reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude.
• The ability to work independently and follow delivery instructions.

Please note: Previous container driving experience is essential for this position.
