The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a commercially driven Road Freight Business Development Manager with an excellent track record of winning new business within the road freight sector.

This is a remote position offering significant autonomy, the opportunity to develop your own client portfolio and the backing of an established international logistics network.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within the road freight market.

Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers and key decision-makers.

Generate new revenue through proactive sales activity, networking and strategic business development.

Identify opportunities across domestic and international road freight services.

Develop tailored transport solutions to meet customer

requirements.

Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and negotiation through to closing new business.

Work closely with internal operations and commercial teams to deliver effective customer solutions.

Achieve agreed sales targets, revenue objectives and business growth plans.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in business development within the road freight or European road transport sector.

A strong track record of winning new customers and generating profitable revenue.

An established network of contacts and the ability to build long-term commercial relationships.

Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills.

A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently in a remote role.

A commercially minded individual who understands the road freight market and knows how to identify opportunities for growth.
