FLT Yard Operative

Hours: 40+ hours per week, with overtime available

Shifts (swap each week):

🌅 Week 1: Mon–Fri, 6am–2pm

🌆 Week 2: Mon–Fri, 2pm–10pm

Yard / Plant Operative to join a busy site in Deeside

The role will involve keeping the yard running smoothly, sorting recyclable materials and operating plant machinery to move stock around the site.

What you'll be doing:

1. Loading and unloading containers and vehicles using a forklift

2. Sorting materials and removing unsuitable items

3. Carrying out daily machinery and equipment checks

4. Moving and rotating stock around the yard

5. Keeping the site clean, tidy and safe

6. Following health, safety and environmental procedures

What you'll need:

1. Experience in a yard, plant or similar operational role would be beneficial

2. An NPORS, FLT, or similar licence for relevant mobile plant machinery and/or Banksman duties

3. A good attitude towards health and safety

4. A reliable and hardworking approach
