Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Goods In Operative to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming stock, ensuring accurate receipt and storage, and supporting overall warehouse operations. Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and delivery notes
• Operate forklift trucks and other warehouse machinery safely to load, unload, and move stock
• Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 for stock control and data entry
• Handle materials efficiently, including stacking, storing, and organising stock in designated areas
• Perform picking and packing duties for outgoing orders with attention to detail
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including preparing goods for dispatch
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
• Support mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance when required
