Starting Salary £12.71per hour (£31,390 pa) during initial 3-month Probation Period.

Factory based: Barlby , North Yorkshire (Nr Selby)

Hours Monday – Friday, 7.00am to 5.00pm (47.5 hours per week)

Lunch Break: 30 minutes

Role Overview

Initially working in the Print Department with Machine Operatives, assisting in all aspects of operating a Screen-Printing Machine printing on glass. Training will be provided allowing you the opportunity to develop and progress your skills to a job where you are fully trained and qualified in all key aspects of the glass printing business.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to

The tasks will develop and eventually involve operating a machine safely to the highest quality standards, and include the following:

• Safety checks on the equipment you are using
• Setting up the machines for different jobs
• Checking and changing the screens and inks throughout the printing cycle
• Checking for defects, print quality and inspection
• Producing samples for pre-production approval
• Assisting with machine strip down and cleaning
• Loading and unloading Lehr, meeting production figures

Skills & Experience Required

Prior experience in a print production role is not required as training will be provided.

• Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual and physical quality.
• Good communication skills, for dealing with internal teams.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workloads effectively.
• A team player with a proactive attitude and hands-on approach.
• Must be enthusiastic and committed to learning new skills and working in a fast-paced efficient team environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 procedures and compliance -preferable but not essential
