Extra Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of a global company based in Rugeley.

This is a permanent night shift position offering a salary of £32,994.23 including shift allowance, with opportunities for career progression.

You'll be responsible for supervising warehouse operatives, coordinating daily operations and ensuring the warehouse runs safely and efficiently.

Job Details

Salary: £32,994.23 per annum (including shift allowance)

Location: Rugeley, Staffordshire

Contract: Permanent

Working Days: Sunday to Thursday

Hours: 10pm to 6am

Working Week: 38 hours

The Role

As a Warehouse Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

Supervising and supporting warehouse operatives on night shifts

Planning labour and equipment

requirements to meet operational demands

Overseeing warehouse activities, including picking and despatch

Monitoring shift performance and identifying areas for improvement

Leading, motivating and developing warehouse staff

Maintaining health and safety standards and 5S housekeeping procedures

Working with other supervisors and departments to improve productivity

Using SAP warehouse management systems to process and manage warehouse operations accurately

Resolving operational issues and ensuring daily targets are achieved

Requirements

Strong team leadership and people management skills

Good organisational and planning abilities

Ability to prioritise workloads and make decisions in a busy warehouse environment

Confident communication skills

Ability to monitor performance and identify improvements

Good IT and numeracy skills

Ability to work the required night shift pattern
