HGV Class 2 Dustcart / RCV Drivers

Driver Hire Uxbridge are recruiting HGV Class 2 Dustcart / RCV Drivers for our client, a leading Waste Management Service Centre based in Harefield UB9

TEMPORARY TO PERMAMENT POSITIONS AVAILABLE (opportunity to become a permanent employee after a 12 week period, subject to performance)

£43,002.70 per annum + £2500 yearly performance bonus

Monday to Friday 4am starts | 9.5 hour shifts

Rota includes 1 Saturday a month

Duties:

• Safely drive Class 2 dustcarts across London and the Home Counties
• Follow planned collection routes and schedules
• Maintain accurate driver logs and compliance records
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Comply with road traffic laws, drivers’ hours and company procedures
• Work effectively with loaders and the transport team
• Provide a professional and considerate service to customers
• Maintain a clean, tidy and professional vehicle

Requirements

• UK Category C Manual Licence
• Max 6 points; no DR, DD, TT, IN or MS90
• Valid CPC and TACHO
• Aged 25+ for insurance
• Class 2 / Refuse Collection Vehicles experience
• Experience in waste operations is preferred but not essential
• Professional with excellent customer service skills
