Logistics Manager

We are recuiting for a Logistics Manager for our client who are a specialist Manufacturer of Precision Sand Cast Aluminium and Steel castings for the Aerospace, Defence and Nuclear Engineering Industries.

This client is an award-winning innovative leader in the design, engineering, and manufacture of high-integrity complex castings for world-leading manufacturers.

This will be a very hands on role and the Logistics/Store person we are looking for will be responsible for logistics operations of manufactured products, iIncluding bespoke packing of high value and fragile products (castings), shipping and dealing with a multitude of couriers - dependent on destination (National or International). Liaising with quality dept and using MRP computer system.

The Logistics Manager will have:

• Experience in automotive logistics, ideally within a demanding, high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, including planning, process discipline and practical problem-solving.
• Set up and track shipments end to end: quotes, bookings, documents and delivery
• MUST have a forklift licence
