7.5t Delivery Driver

7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Driver – Eastleigh / Southampton.

£17.86 per hour (inclusive of holiday) | Overtime £22.97 per hour (After 48 hours)

Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t Home Delivery Drivers for a well-known, multi-national client based in Eastleigh, Southampton.

The Role-

You will work alongside a Drivers Mate, delivering large items to residential properties. Products include:

Flat-pack furniture

Gym equipment

White goods

Sofa's and Beds

This is a physically demanding role, and candidates must be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.

The company offers a “room of choice” delivery service. Full training will be provided to ensure deliveries are completed safely and professionally.

Working Hours & Shifts-

The operation runs 7 days a week

5–6 shifts per week on a rotating rota

Weekend work is required

Start time: 06:00

Shift length: approximately 8–11 hours

Assessments & Training-

Successful applicants will be required to:

Pass a driving assessment

Complete a multiple-choice Highway Code and tacho test

Attend a mandatory induction day (following the assessment)

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must:

Hold a valid UK driving licence (7.5t)

Have a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

Have no more than 6 points on your licence

Have no DD, DR, or IN endorsements

Be able to reliably commute to site

Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.

Please note that drug tests can be carried out at anytime, at the clients discretion. A drug test will also be carried out at assessment.

The Ideal 7.5t Driver Candidate Will Be:

Reliable, punctual, and well organised

Customer-focused with strong communication skills

Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy goods

In possession of steel toe cap safety boots and a high-visibility vest
