Machining Trainee / Technician , your duties will include: Mounting workpieces and preparing jobs for production Setting up machinery in line with drawings and specifications Operating machinery to manufacture precision components Demounting completed work safely and efficiently Cleaning finished components to the required standards Carrying out routine machine maintenance and housekeeping activities Inspecting and checking completed work for quality and accuracy Following engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions Adhering to Health & Safety and COSHH procedures at all times The

will work a 35-hour week on a Monday to Friday day shift, with flexibility around working hours where required. Skills & Experience To be considered for this

Machining Trainee / Technician

role, you should have: A Level 2 or Level 3 Engineering qualification (preferred) Good attention to detail and the ability to follow technical documentation A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Previous machining, manufacturing, engineering or workshop experience for Technician-level applicants An interest in precision engineering, mechanical manufacturing or machine operation Salary & Benefits Trainee

£12.71 - £13.31 per hour Suitable for candidates with little or no machining experience Full training provided Technician

£13.69 - £14.00 per hour Suitable for candidates with previous machining experience and a Level 2 or Level 3 Engineering qualification Additional benefits include: Monday to Friday working pattern Day shifts 35-hour working week Full training and ongoing development Supportive team environment Long-term career prospects within a specialist engineering business Please note that any offer of employment will be subject to a basic DBS check.
