Cost Manager (NRM1)

In this role you will support a UK health programme to build and refurbish hospitals, delivering robust cost management and reliable estimates across large, complex schemes. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to align cost plans with client policies and governance, ensuring value and predictability. You’ll contribute to cost assurance, risk review, and data-driven decision making for major healthcare projects. The opportunity offers cross-functional collaboration, continuous improvement, and a chance to shape delivery on a national health initiative.

• Prepare and maintain consistent cost estimates and elemental cost plans for capital projects
• Support scheme delivery to control the approved baseline and assist with cost assurance and data verification
• Ensure compliance with client policies and drive excellence in cost management and reporting
• Contribute to client initiatives, tools, and processes to enhance future performance
• Engage with scheme leads, Trusts, and Advisors to maintain robust cost management and reporting
• Assist in cost status verification, change control, and commercial decision support
• Provide detailed cost analysis to support business case reviews and governance
• Develop leadership and mentoring within the regional health sector team

• NRM1/2 knowledge across projects of varying scale
• Relevant technical qualification with track record on major projects
• Strong client-focused approach with stakeholder management skills
• Working towards or holding an applicable professional qualification
• Experience in construction consultancy, healthcare/life science projects, or digital project management tools is advantageous
