Your new companyA well-established social housing contractor operating across Wakefield and the surrounding areas is seeking an experienced Plumber to join their growing maintenance team. The organisation delivers high-quality repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment services to tenanted and void properties, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and community improvement.Your new roleAs a Plumber,

you will be carrying out reactive and planned maintenance work on social housing properties throughout Wakefield. Duties will include:

Bathroom repairs and installations

Fault-finding and plumbing maintenance

Repairs to pipework, taps, toilets, showers, and sanitaryware

Working in occupied and void properties

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales

Providing excellent customer service to tenants

What you'll need to succeed

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)

Proven experience working as a plumber within domestic properties

Experience within social housing, repairs, or maintenance environments

Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Full UK driving licence

Excellent communication and customer service skills
