NQ Commercial Property Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is delighted to be working with a well-established, award-winning law firm that is looking to recruit a Newly Qualified Commercial Property Solicitor to join its growing team in Kendal. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Newly Qualified Solicitor with a passion for commercial property to develop their career within a supportive and highly regarded team. You will work alongside experienced legal professionals, gaining exposure to a broad range of commercial property transactions for regional and national clients.

Location: Kendal / Hybrid Working Salary: £35,000–£45,000 per annum, depending on experience Experience: Newly Qualified Solicitor (NQ–1 PQE) Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities as a Commercial Property Solicitor

• Manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters with appropriate supervision.
• Assist with landlord and tenant matters, commercial and residential development and high-value property transactions.
• Draft and negotiate leases, contracts and other commercial property documentation.
• Liaise regularly with clients, agents and other legal professionals, providing timely updates and advice.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to the growth of the department.
• Use the firm's case management system to maintain accurate records and manage deadlines effectively.

About You as a Commercial Property Solicitor

• A Newly Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales, ideally with experience in commercial property gained during a training contract or previous paralegal role.
• A genuine interest in commercial property law and a desire to develop your expertise.
• Excellent drafting, communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Confidence in communicating with clients, agents and other legal professionals.
• Excellent organisational and IT skills, ideally with experience using a legal case management system.
• Experience using the SOS case management system would be advantageous but is not essential.
