Abacus Careers is recruiting an International Tax Assistant Manager/Manager to join a growing international tax team, working with an impressive portfolio of multinational businesses.

This is an excellent move for an ambitious tax professional who wants to develop beyond traditional compliance and gain greater exposure to international advisory, structuring and cross-border projects .

THE OPPORTUNITY

You’ll work closely with experienced Directors and Partners, advising internationally focused businesses and collaborating with tax specialists across a global network.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Managing corporate tax compliance and reporting for multinational clients
• Supporting international tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Getting involved in international tax advisory and structuring projects
• Coordinating cross-border assignments with international tax teams
• Identifying tax planning opportunities and commercial solutions
• Researching complex international tax matters
• Preparing technical advice, reports and client recommendations
• Supporting proposals, tenders and business development
• Coaching and supporting junior members of the team

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• CTA qualified – ACA/ACCA also advantageous
• Ideally 2–3 years' post-qualified corporate tax experience
• Strong corporation tax and international tax knowledge
• Experience working with multinational or internationally focused clients
• Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills
• Commercial, organised and technically strong
• Ambitious and keen to continue developing your international tax expertise
• Experience of tax reporting, deferred tax, tax accounting, IP regimes or R&D incentives would be an added advantage.
