Finance Assistant

Due to changes within the finance department, they are now seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis.

What will the temporary Finance Assistant role involve?

Supporting the Finance Manager in day-to-day financial operations, including transactional processing and reconciliations

Managing supplier and customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and prompt resolution of queries

Assisting with cash flow management, banking, and month-end tasks to underpin financial stability

Maintaining up-to-date financial records adhering to compliance and procedural standards

Contributing to process improvements and supporting audit readiness, ensuring smooth financial operations at all times

Suitable Candidate for the temporary Finance Assistant vacancy:

Previous experience working in a finance or accounts role, ideally within a busy environment

Strong understanding of key financial processes, including accounts payable, receivable, and month-end close

Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with a keen eye for detail

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively

Strong communication skills, with a professional approach to problem-solving and customer service
