Accounts Payable Assistant

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT, £28k, Wilmslow.

Working for a well-established organisation within their busy accounts team.

• Processing supplier invoices for a group of companies
• Undertaking monthly supplier statement reconciliations
• Processing sundry payments and handling any general enquiries
• Managing multiple mailboxes
• Inputting invoices onto the system
• Liaising with suppliers to resolve any queries promptly
• Assisting new and existing supplier accounts in line with company policy
• Generating weekly payment runs for approval and payment
• Performing monthly supplier reconciliations
• Matching invoices to purchase orders
• All round accounts support and administration to the wider team.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years plus purchase ledger experience, preferably with AAT part qualification, strong Excel skills, a steady career history, good communication skills and telephone manner, happy working closely as part of a team, used to working to strict processes.
