Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, family-owned dealership seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their team in Worthing.

Benefits:

Competitive basic salary of £30,000, with an OTE of approximately £38,000 including commission and bonuses

Working hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota (8:30am to 12:30pm)

Refer a friend reward schemeDuties of a Service Advisor:

Meet and greet customers in a professional, friendly manner to create a positive first impression

Book vehicles into the workshop and liaise with technicians to track progress

Provide ongoing communication to customers regarding their vehicle repairs and servicing

Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business

Promote and sell repair work, service plans, and additional vehicle products in line with manufacturer guidelines

Maintain a thorough and current knowledge of products and services through continuous training

Handle telephone enquiries professionally and efficiently

Ensure workshop and administration areas are kept tidy and well-organisedRequirements of a Service Advisor

Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the motor trade is essential

Proven experience with DMS systems; Kerridge or similar preferred

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Friendly, positive attitude with a professional appearance and phone manner

Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
