Business Development Executive | £35,000 - £40,000 + Pool car/fuel card + Commission | Swanley, Kent (office and field based)

My client is seeking an ambitious Business Development Executive to join their growing sales team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys generating new business, managing customer relationships and taking ownership of the full sales cycle.

Combining office and field-based responsibilities, the successful candidate will manage their own geographical territory, build a strong sales pipeline and work closely with an established telesales function to maximise opportunities and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities within an assigned geographical territory

Generate leads through proactive outbound business development activity

Attend customer meetings to understand

requirements and present appropriate solutions

Prepare quotations, negotiate terms and convert opportunities into sales

Build and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing customers

Manage and grow a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities within the CRM system

Collaborate with telesales and wider sales colleagues to maximise business opportunities

Work towards agreed sales targets and performance objectives 

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in business development, field sales or B2B sales

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Commercially aware with the ability to identify and develop sales opportunities

Self-motivated and proactive approach to winning new business

Experience presenting solutions, preparing quotations and closing sales

Organised with strong administrative and CRM skills

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the designated territory 

Package

£35,000 - £40,000 basic salary + commission structure + company fuel card

Combination of office and field-based working

Ownership of a geographical sales territory

Support from an established sales team and growing telesales function
