Level 3 Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Educator

Location: Lewisham borough and surrounding areas

Salary: £29,000–£30,500 per year

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Tendly is recruiting Level 3 Nursery Practitioners, Early Years Educators, Nursery Nurses and qualified Nursery Assistants for settings across:

Lewisham, Catford, Hither Green, Lee, Ladywell, Brockley, Forest Hill, Sydenham, New Cross, Deptford, Blackheath, Grove Park and nearby areas of Greenwich and Bromley.

What the job actually involves:

• Taking responsibility for a key group of children
• Creating activities from children’s genuine interests
• Completing useful observations and realistic next steps
• Supporting daily routines without losing interaction time
• Giving parents clear updates about their child’s day
• Working confidently within baby, toddler or preschool rooms
• Maintaining strong safeguarding and safety standards
• Contributing ideas instead of simply following the same routine every day

You must:

• Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Be warm, reliable and confident engaging with children
• Understand the basics of the EYFS and safeguarding
• Be available for full-time nursery work
• Be able to commute reliably within Lewisham or surrounding areas
• Have the right to work in the UK or clearly state if sponsorship is required
