Bar Staff

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused person to join the team at Market Tap in Pocklington on a part-time basis.

If you enjoy working with people, love a good atmosphere and don’t mind getting stuck in, we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing

• Providing great service and making sure our customers have a brilliant time
• Welcoming customers and helping them choose something new to try
• Serving beers, drinks and food
• Keeping the bar and venue clean and tidy
• Clearing tables, collecting glasses and keeping things looking their best
• Helping the wider team to keep the venue running smoothly
• Creating a friendly atmosphere that makes customers want to come back

What we’re looking for

• A friendly, positive and approachable personality
• Excellent customer service skills
• Previous hospitality or bar experience is desirable, but not essential
• Someone who is reliable and happy working as part of a team
• A willingness to learn and get stuck in
• Knowledge or an interest in beer is a bonus!

We’re more interested in the person and their attitude than having a long list of previous experience. Full training will be provided
