Investment Analyst

INVESTMENT ANALYSTLONDON/ONSITEUP TO £60,000This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Business Analyst to join a growing private equity investment team focused on technology and software businesses. You will gain hands‑on exposure across the full investment lifecycle, working on live acquisitions, financial modelling, investment analysis, and portfolio value creation initiatives in a high-performing, fast-paced environment.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the evaluation of potential investment opportunities
• Conduct financial, commercial, and market analysis to inform investment decisions
• Build and maintain financial models
• Assist with due diligence processes across live transactions
• Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and investment proposals
• Support M&A execution and transaction management activities
• Monitor portfolio company performance and key business metrics
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and value creation projects within portfolio companies
• Assist with quarterly reporting and investment documentation
• Collaborate across multiple live deals and projects simultaneously

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Strong commercial experience within Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, or a related investment environment
• Exposure to M&A transactions and investment processes
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
• Experience analysing financial, commercial, and market data
• Advanced Excel
• An interest in software, technology, and investment-led growth businesses
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
