Telecoms Programme Manager | Long-Term Contract | Dublin (Hybrid)

A leading telecommunications organisation based in Dublin is currently seeking an experienced Telecoms Programme Manager for a long-term daily rate contract opportunity.

This role will take ownership of a major network and infrastructure transformation programme, overseeing the migration of numerous business-critical network and operational platforms onto new technology environments. Working alongside a team of technical leads and project managers, you will provide overall programme leadership and ensure successful delivery across multiple interconnected workstreams.

The role is based in Dublin with hybrid working.

What you will be doing in the role:

• Lead a large-scale telecoms transformation programme spanning multiple network, infrastructure, and technology domains.
• Provide overall governance, direction, and coordination across several concurrent projects and delivery teams.
• Develop and maintain programme roadmaps, timelines, budgets, and reporting frameworks.
• Manage programme risks, dependencies, issues, and critical milestones.
• Coordinate technical leads, project managers, vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Drive effective communication and collaboration across business and technology teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Provide regular programme updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

What you will bring to the team:

• Extensive experience delivering complex programmes within the Telecommunications industry.
• Proven track record managing large-scale telecoms transformation initiatives involving network infrastructure, cloud platforms, core networks, or technology migrations.
• Strong experience working within telecom operators, network providers, or large-scale telecoms environments.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple project managers, technical leads, vendors, and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of telecoms network technologies, infrastructure, and operational environments.
• Excellent programme governance, planning, financial management, and risk management experience.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively at Executive and Senior Leadership level.
• Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage large, complex programmes with multiple dependencies and competing priorities.
