Job Description & Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced assurance and risk professional to strengthen governance across a portfolio of around 40 programmes and projects within an established PMO.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve assurance processes and PMO standards.
  • Lead assurance and portfolio risk reviews, tracking actions to completion.
  • Ensure risks, issues and dependencies are managed consistently.
  • Advise project and programme managers on risk, mitigation and governance.
  • Provide constructive challenge to strengthen reporting and resolve issues.

Essential skills

  • Strong portfolio, programme or PMO experience.
  • Expertise in assurance, risk management and governance.
  • Experience leading assurance and risk reviews.
  • Confident stakeholder management and constructive challenge.
