Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) -  Curtain Sider + Box Trailer work - No handballing

Location: Rochdale

Bonus: £150 sign up bonus

Pay Rate: £18.49 - £20.17 p/h (includes rolled up holiday pay)

Shifts:  Monday - Friday Days and Nights - START TIMES 04:00-08:00 & 14:00-19:00

Experience: 12 months Class 1 experience essential

As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:

A mixture of Curtain Sider and Box Trailer work

Mainly clean trunking work - Minimal to No hand balling

Curtain Side work - trunking but strapping & curtain movement required

Box Trailer work - some runs require pallets to be moved with a Pallet truck but the rest are purely trailer movements

Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting

Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations

Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accuratelyWhat We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence

At least 12 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience

A valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC) and a valid Digital Tachograph Card

A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer serviceOur client may accept up to 6 penalty points. Unfortunately, applications with DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements cannot be accepted.
