Press / Machine Assistant
Location: Wellingborough
Shift: (Apply online only) and (Apply online only) Weekly Rotating | Monday-Friday
Duration: Temporary ongoing, with the potential to become permanent after 12 successful weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Basic machine operative skills required – full training provided.
As a Press / Machine Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Preparing printing plates ready for the presses.
Preparing inks using an ink mixing system.
Assisting printers with setting up and running presses.
Laying printing plates.
Fitting cutters and plates.
Ensuring daily production schedules are met.
Maintaining daily cleaning and basic machine maintenance.Benefits of this role:
