HGV Class 1 Driver — Nights

CS & L Group Limited is recruiting full-time Class 1 (C+E) drivers for night Trunking/Tramping work from

our bases at Rochester, near the Isle of Grain, ME3 9GX and Swanscombe, Gravesend, DA10 0LL.

The role

• General haulage on box trailers — no loading or unloading
• Start times from 21:00 through to midnight
• 5 days on, 2 days off. Working week runs Sunday to Saturday
• £40,000 – £45,500 per annum, depending on experience
• Permanent, full-time, PAYE
• Immediate start available

Location and travel

Our base sits near the Isle of Grain, roughly 30 minutes from Rochester, Strood, Chatham and Gillingham,

and within 45 minutes of Gravesend, Sittingbourne, Maidstone and Dartford.

What you will need

• Full UK Category C+E licence
• Valid Driver CPC (DQC) card and digital tachograph card
• Confident reversing into bays
• No more than 6 penalty points, and no DR (drink or drug driving) convictions
• Willingness to complete a basic DBS check and a DVLA licence check
• Right to work in the UK
