Class 2 Driver

CLASS 2 DRIVER – WIGSTON, LEICESTER

We are currently looking for an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to join our team on a Monday to Friday basis.

Location: Wigston, Leicester

Hours: Monday–Friday, 05:30–14:30

Pay: £15.40 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

The Role

Delivering car parts to depots in Luton and Nottingham

Regular Monday–Friday work

Vehicle fitted with a tail lift

All loads are forklifted on and off

Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and to schedule

Completing and obtaining signatures on all relevant delivery paperwork

Carrying out daily walk-around vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly

Ensuring all company procedures and legal requirements are followed

Requirements

Minimum 1 year’s HGV Class 2 driving experience

Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Good driving record

Reliable, punctual and professional approach

Ability to complete all required paperwork accurately

Good communication skills

Strong focus on timekeeping and delivering a high level of customer service

Commitment to carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
