7.5T Delivery Driver – Luton

Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting for experienced and reliable 7.5T HGV Drivers to join our client's busy delivery operation in and around Luton. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for a 7.5T Driver who enjoys being on the road, providing excellent customer service, and working as part of a professional team.

Location: Luton

Pay Rate: £14.53 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm

Hours: Monday to Friday, starting between 05.00am and 06:00am – No Weekends

The Role

As a 7.5T Driver, you will be responsible for completing approximately 40–50 multi-drop deliveries of office supplies and stationary per day to hospitality and business customers across Luton and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a 7.5T lorry to complete daily multi-drop deliveries of office supplies and stationary equipment.

*

Load your vehicle each morning, ensuring goods are secure and handled with care.

*

Deliver orders to hospitality and business customers in a professional and timely manner.

*

Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures.

*

Provide excellent customer service on every delivery.

*

Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy, reporting any defects promptly.

*

Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and within agreed timescales.

Requirements

To be successful as a 7.5T Driver, you will need:

*

A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card and CPC

*

Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.

*

Good knowledge of the area and the surrounding areas.

*

To be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.

*

Strong communication and time-management skills.

*

A reliable, punctual and customer-focused approach.

*

A smart and professional appearance.

Please note that all successful 7.5T Driver applicants will be required to attend an initial interview on site. If successful, you will then complete a three-day company induction and route training programme before starting work.
