Position Details

Location: Grays, West Thurrock, Essex, RM20 4AL

Shift Pattern: 4-Crew shift pattern (Days: 06:00 to 18:00 / Nights: 18:00 to 06:00)

Contract Type: Long-term assignment

Pay Rate: £17.34 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance)

Responsibilities

As a Counterbalance FLT Driver, you will play a critical role in the warehouse operation. Your daily tasks will include:

Movement of loaded pallets from palletization to wrapper, wrapper to floor spots, and floor spots to conveyor infeed.

Efficient movement of empty pallets from rack to floor.

Operating the wrapper machine as required.

Maintaining high standards of safety and area cleanliness.

Ensuring accurate placement of pallets in designated marked floor spots.

Maintaining a high level of awareness when working in pedestrian-interface areas.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should be a self-motivated professional with the following requirements:

At least 2 years of experience operating a Counterbalance FLT.

Must hold an in-date, accredited license (RTITB, ITSSAR, or AITT).

Ability to commit to the long-term, 4-crew shift pattern.

Possess basic computing skills and effectively follow operational instructions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A proactive, energetic, and "can-do" attitude with a results-driven mindset.
