Upholsterer

CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for an Upholsterer on behalf of our ever-growing client based in BD1.

We're looking for an Upholsterer to join our manufacturing team in Bradford. This is an opportunity to work a 4-day week, producing high-quality contract furniture used across healthcare, hospitality, care homes and specialist environments.

Duties Include:

• Upholster a range of chairs and sofas using a variety of fabrics including vinyl, soft covers and leather..

• Use air powered hand tools including tackers and drills.

• Work from product specifications to produce high-quality finished products.

• Support the wider production team to meet daily targets.

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in upholstery.

• Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.

• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to learn new skills.

• The ability to follow instructions, and product specifications.

• A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.

• The ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards.

• A genuine interest in developing a career in upholstery and furniture manufacturing.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7am to 5.15pm

Pay: Up to £16.63
