<p class="text-muted mb-3">My client, a well-established company is actively seeing to employ an experienced and qualified HGV Technician for their depot in Coventry.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be working on an internal fleet of circa 70 commercial vehicles to include HGV’s and Trailers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a permanent role that is paid weekly and comes with the following benefits – starting salary of £53,328.60 per annum / £22.79 per hour, 25 days holiday (increases with service) + bank holidays, overtime paid at 1.5 X, pension, death in service, wellbeing programme, free onsite parking, excellent ongoing training, 2 x 30 minute breaks, cycle to work scheme and free onsite parking</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter duties</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be working on an inhouse fleet of circa 70 commercial vehicles to include tractor units, trailers, skip loaders and front loaders</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working in a well-equipped workshop, the successful HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Duties range from correction of running defects to full vehicle overhauls, diagnostics and everything in between.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will also be required to undertake inspections and pre-MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter Qualifications / experience required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">In order to qualify for the role, the successful HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter will ideally have industry recognised qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds) or be time served</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You must have extensive experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Any additional experience gained working on trailers would be beneficial</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">IRTEC trained would be beneficial but not essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full UK driving licence</p>
