<p class="text-muted mb-3">Metro Supply Chain UK are looking for a Solution Delivery Manager to join our small and ambitious IT team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This role works with an exciting project which is still in the pre-deployment stage, meaning the person can come in and really put their name to something impressive.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Bringing together client partnership skills and project management to a strong technical background, this varied role is perfect for someone who doesn’t mind getting stuck in while keeping things moving.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">While the person would be preferably based out of our HQ near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, we are open to explore UK based applicants who fit the experience needed, but are a little further afield.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">WHAT YOU’LL BE DOIN</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As our Solution Delivery Manager, you'll take ownership of the successful design, delivery, and ongoing development of a major Warehouse Management Solution.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working closely with customers, operational teams, suppliers, and technical specialists, you'll help shape a solution that supports a large-scale, high-profile operation from pre-deployment through to business-as-usual.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Key areas of responsibility include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Acting as the main point of contact for solution delivery, building strong relationships with customers, operational teams, suppliers, and project stakeholders.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Gathering, analysing, and translating business</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements into practical technology solutions that deliver measurable value.</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Leading the implementation and ongoing evolution of our Warehouse Management Solution, ensuring it remains effective, scalable, and fit for future needs.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Managing the delivery of system integrations, coordinating internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless business processes.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Driving high standards across solution design, testing, implementation, governance, and support.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Leading a small product team, creating a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and customer success.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Managing project risks, budgets, timelines, and delivery plans to ensure successful outcomes.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Providing technical oversight and challenge to ensure solutions are secure, resilient, and aligned to long-term business objectives.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">EXPERIENCE:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven experience delivering Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar enterprise technology solutions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience in business analysis,</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements gathering, and</h5>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements management.</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience managing complex system integrations and third-party technology solutions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience managing project and programme budgets.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Understanding of project governance, risk management, and change control processes.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work effectively across customer, operational, supplier, and technical environments.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Desirable</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience within construction, infrastructure, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environments.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure programmes.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, and integration technologies.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS (Discrete)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Understanding of cyber security, compliance, and information governance frameworks.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">PRINCE2, Agile, MSP, PMP, or equivalent project delivery qualification.</p>
