Supply Chain Planner

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A fantastic opportunity for an Supply Chain Planner to join a global manufacturing business within their aerospace division. This role is based in Aldershot and is looking to offer up to £34,000 with 3 days a week working from home</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Supply Chain Planner will join a collaborative team and will be responsible for coordinating customer orders through established business processes, supporting OEM customers across industrial and oil & gas sectors in Europe and other global regions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a varied and dynamic role, ideally suited to someone who is highly organised, accurate and customer focused, with excellent attention to detail.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience within a supply chain is essential and experience using SAP would be advantageous.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Role responsibilities of the Supply Chain Planner include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Creating and processing customer sales orders, delivery notes, proformas and invoices.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Managing and updating open order books to ensure accurate customer information.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Creating purchase orders for manufacturing facilities.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Coordinating customer shipments and transport bookings.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaising with manufacturing sites and factories to ensure orders are delivered on time.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Providing customers with relevant shipping documentation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting the consolidation of shipments to minimise customer logistics costs.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Managing and resolving invoice queries</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring order acknowledgements, invoices and transport documentation are submitted accurately and on time</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting the creation and updating of procedures and work instructions</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Providing general administration and supply chain support as requiredPerson Specification of the Supply Chain Planner:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience in a supply chain within a manufacturing environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong written and verbal English communication skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work autonomously while also contributing effectively within a team</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work to deadlines</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong customer service skills and a professional approach when dealing with internal and external customersSalary:</p>
