<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands-on position focused on managing day-to-day purchasing activities, stock replenishment, and supplier coordination, ensuring products are available when customers need them while maintaining healthy stock levels and controlling costs. Working closely with sales, suppliers and warehouse teams,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be responsible for:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Managing daily purchasing and stock replenishment activities</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reviewing and approving replenishment proposals and order recommendations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Raising, confirming, and monitoring purchase orders with UK and international suppliers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining accurate supplier lead times and ETA information</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Chasing overdue deliveries and resolving supply issues</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Acting as the primary point of contact for stock, availability, and delivery queries from internal teams</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Sourcing and ordering non-stock and customer-specific items</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Coordinating product availability for larger project and installation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working closely with stakeholders to improve stock availability and customer service levels</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Essential skills & experience required for this role:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Purchasing, Supply Planning, Procurement or Supply Chain</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience within a distribution, wholesale, logistics or product-based environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Practical experience using ERP, MRP or forecasting systems</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience managing supplier relationships and purchase orders</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge of importing products and working with overseas suppliers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong Excel skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong communication skills with the confidence to deal with internal stakeholders and suppliers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A detail-oriented approach and ability to manage multiple priorities</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience within healthcare, medical, technical or regulated product environments would be an advantage</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience managing or mentoring a junior team member</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">CIPS qualification or currently studying towards one</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Familiarity with inventory forecasting and demand planning systems</p>
