<p class="text-muted mb-3">Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader Assistant on behalf of one of our clients.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful candidate will support the Team Leader in ensuring that all orders are manufactured on time and to the expected high standards, whilst adhering to all Health and Safety policies. You will also support KPI and data reporting, assist with the day-to-day manufacturing process and be available to cover production stations when required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be required to work Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm. You will also be required to travel to site & stay overnight, once trained.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Duties and Responsibilities:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure all manufacturing quality is maintained to the expected high standard and required deadlines are met.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure all relevant quality paperwork is completed and maintained.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Continuously drive the team to maximise output and efficiency.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work alongside the Team Leader to support cultural change and embrace ongoing improvements and efficiencies.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Minimise labour costs where possible whilst achieving manufacturing</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work with the Team Leader to ensure the correct utilisation of manpower across the business.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure operator training is completed when required and signed off on time.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Continuously look for opportunities to reduce scrap levels.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Generate and implement initiatives that drive improvements.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained and work areas are clean and free of debris.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work alongside the Team Leader to ensure RAMS are explained and signed off by the relevant personnel as required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure all data reports and KPIs are completed accurately and on time to drive efficiencies.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Conduct consumable stock checks and ensure stock levels are maintained.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work closely with the Team Leader to manage employees in relation to HR activities, including holidays, absence and lateness.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support the Team Leader with investigations and disciplinary processes where required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be able to step into the Team Leader position to provide cover when required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure all quality issues are dealt with and reported appropriately.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support the manufacturing process and cover production stations when required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out any other reasonable tasks assigned by your manager or supervisor.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure compliance concerns, issues and failures are reported.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Participate in training as required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions or omissions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Follow all instructions, training and company safety policies and procedures at all times.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Skills and Qualifications:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full UK Driving Licence.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">HGV C+E Licence (Beneficial). </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous manufacturing knowledge and experience is essential.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft programmes and SAP.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Competent numeracy and literacy skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A positive attitude towards continuous improvement.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience of Return to Work (RTW) processes and investigations would be advantageous.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous leadership experience would be advantageous.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">FLT licence is preferable but not essential.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A willingness to be flexible regarding working hours.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support the Team Leader.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to step into a Team Leader position when required</p>
