<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prime Appointments are working with a well-established manufacturing business in Clacton-on-Sea who are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join their busy team on a permanent basis.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a varied, hands-on role within the logistics, distribution and supply chain operation, covering forklift driving, goods in, dispatch, order picking, packing and stock control.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will play an important role in ensuring materials are moved safely, orders are prepared accurately and deliveries are processed efficiently.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful candidate must hold a valid B1 Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence and have previous warehouse or distribution experience.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move and position materials safely around the warehouse and yard.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading and unloading commercial vehicles and assisting with shipping container deliveries.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Picking and packing customer orders accurately, ensuring goods are securely packaged and protected.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Preparing pallets for dispatch, checking labels and ensuring orders are ready for collection.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Receiving deliveries, checking incoming stock and reporting discrepancies or damaged materials.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Replenishing stock and organising storage areas to ensure materials are readily available.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting internal stock movements and deliveries between departments and sites.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out regular stock checks and ensuring materials are stored safely.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse and yard.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following health and safety procedures, including safe forklift operation, load security and site traffic management.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid B1 Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence – essential.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck in a warehouse, distribution or manufacturing environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full UK driving licence – essential.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous warehouse, goods-in, dispatch or stock control experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A strong understanding of warehouse health and safety.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A reliable, proactive and flexible approach to work.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.</p>
