Forklift Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently recruiting experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced import handling environment where accuracy, efficiency and safety are essential.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role involves operating forklifts, manually handling cargo, breaking down air freight PMCs (pallets with netting), and supporting X-ray screening processes as required. The ideal candidate will be flexible, physically fit, and comfortable working in a busy warehouse setting.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As a Forklift Operator, your duties will include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Safely operating counterbalance and/or reach forklifts to unload, move and position cargo within the warehouse</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading and unloading vehicles in line with operational and safety procedures</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assisting with the breakdown of air cargo PMCs and pallets, separating goods according to handling instructions</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Using pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment as required</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting X-ray screening processes in line with security procedures</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out manual handling duties where required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining a clean, organised and compliant warehouse environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To be considered for this role, you must:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hold a valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach; Bendi/VNA is advantageous)</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Have proven experience operating forklifts within a warehouse or freight handling environment</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Have a basic understanding of air cargo operations, including PMCs</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be safety-focused with the ability to maintain a secure working environment</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be physically fit and capable of manual handling duties</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be able to speak, read and write English</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be able to provide a fully checkable 5-year employment and/or education history</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Successfully complete criminal record checks in line with CAA security regulations (DBS and/or PCC)</p>
