<p class="text-muted mb-3">Overtime rate: £18.60 per hour</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shift: Afternoon shift, Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00 (37.5 hours per week)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Breaks: 30 minutes unpaid</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Contract: Temp to perm after 3 months</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Required: Valid Reach Truck licence (Can be in house)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Purpose of the Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will lead a team of Warehouse Operatives to deliver daily pick/dispatch and goods in/out activity safely, accurately and on time. You'll coordinate resources in real time, monitor performance against targets, and ensure all policies, SOPs and legal</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a freezer role and temperatures can be as low as -15°C.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Lead, motivate and supervise warehouse operatives (including agency staff) to meet customer demand and shift targets</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Plan and allocate labour and tasks to ensure all agreed work is completed on time</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Run daily shift briefs covering workload, priorities and key communications</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage day-to-day warehouse operations and support hands-on work on the warehouse floor when needed</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure compliance with SOPs and safe/legal food handling</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements (temperature checks, equipment checks, stock rotation etc.)</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Promote hygiene and housekeeping standards, maintaining a "clean as you go" culture</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained and in safe working order</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operate MHE as required and ensure daily checks are completed thoroughly</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support regular and spot stock takes</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete frequent site walk rounds and report/escalate issues as required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain health & safety and quality standards; report incidents/near misses to management</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure waste is segregated and disposed of correctly, recycling wherever possible</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage performance, attendance and conduct in line with company policies</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Where applicable, support investigations in line with disciplinary procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Skills, Experience &</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Requirements (Essential)</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid MHE licence (can be in house) - Reach Truck</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Counterbalance licence - beneficial to have</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven warehouse leadership/supervisory experience (team leader, chargehand, shift lead etc.)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong knowledge of H&S and safe systems of work</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Confident communicator with the ability to brief, coach and drive standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good attention to detail, numeracy and basic IT skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable working in a cold/freezer environmentWhat You Get</p>
