HGV Technician - Corby

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are looking for qualified and time served HGV Technicians who can demonstrate a thorough understanding of commercial vehicle repair and maintenance for a workshop in the Corby area.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The HGV Technician role:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You could be working on main dealer heavy goods vehicles (HGV's), tractor and trailer units. Mainly Scania's Volvo's and DAF's</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be carrying out inspections to a varied and diverse fleet, Tractor and Trailer units, service, repair and maintenance, the majority will be tractor unit but the trailer work would be specialised.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">MOT preparation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">6 (or 8) weekly inspections</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Correction of running defects</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Requirements for this HGV Technician role</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ideally</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable, as would an HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence.</p>
