Picker/Packer - Dispatch

Location: Horley

Department: Warehouse

Contract: Full-time

Hours: 2:00pm – 11:30pm

Break: 40 minutes

Salary: £30,952 + 15% shift allowance after 6:00pm (approx. £2,400 per year)

Role Purpose

To receive, pick, pack and dispatch stock accurately and safely.

Main Duties

• Receive and check deliveries.

• Check quantities, product codes and condition.

• Report damaged, missing or incorrect items.

• Process customer returns.

• Book stock onto the warehouse system.

• Put stock away in the correct locations.

• Pick customer orders accurately.

• Pack orders safely and correctly.

• Prepare orders for dispatch and collection.

• Use handheld scanners and warehouse equipment.

• Handle heavy and awkward items safely.

• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.

• Follow Health & Safety and PPE requirements.

• Work with the wider warehouse team to resolve stock and order issues.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse, Goods In, picking or dispatch experience.

• Good attention to detail.

• Comfortable using scanners or warehouse systems.

• Able to work to targets and deadlines.

• Good team player with a reliable attitude.

• Able to safely handle warehouse products.

Desirable:

• Forklift licence and experience with construction or industrial products.
