Luton - Reach Truck Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently recruiting for an experienced Reach Truck Driver to join a busy and growing warehouse operation based in Luton.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time position working a Monday to Friday day shift within a modern temperature-controlled warehouse environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe movement, storage, replenishment and picking of stock while maintaining excellent health & safety and quality standards throughout the operation.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Putting away, replenishing and retrieving stock from racking locations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading and unloading vehicles</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Completing stock movements accurately</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assisting with stock checks and inventory counts</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out daily MHE equipment checks</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining high standards of housekeeping</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following all health & safety procedures and site regulations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting general warehouse activities as required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reporting damaged stock, defects and safety concerns promptly</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What We're Looking For</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Reach Truck Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous Reach Truck experience within a warehouse environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good attention to detail</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong awareness of warehouse health & safety</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work independently and as part of a team</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good numeracy and literacy skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Desirable</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Cold store or temperature-controlled warehouse experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Counterbalance licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience using RF scanning equipment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or food storage environments</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working Environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This role is based within a temperature-controlled cold store, therefore applicants must be comfortable working in cooler conditions. The role will involve regular use of MHE equipment and occasional manual handling duties.</p>
