Logistics Coordinator

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We’re looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator to join an established international freight forwarding and logistics business in Castle Donington.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working in a small, friendly office, you’ll combine customer contact, shipment coordination and stock management with practical support for the warehouse. Around 80% of your time will be office based, using Dispatcher WMS to keep orders, inventory and movements on track.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As the Senior Logistics Coordinator</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, keeping customers informed and deliveries on schedule.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Using Dispatcher WMS to manage order activity and maintain accurate stock information.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working closely with warehouse colleagues on inbound processing, stock checks and order fulfilment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Investigating missing, damaged or incorrect goods and resolving discrepancies promptly.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting customer service, logistics accounting and accurate operational records.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Covering the Team Leader when required and helping less experienced colleagues.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Providing practical warehouse support when needed, including picking and checking goods. You’ll suit this Senior Logistics Coordinator role if you have solid logistics or freight forwarding experience, understand warehouse operations and enjoy taking ownership</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As the senior logistics Coordinator you will have:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination (preferably in a senior or supervisory role).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proficiency with logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong communication and negotiation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, attention to detail and good numeracy skills It would be useful, not not essential if you have:</p>
