<p class="text-muted mb-3">Tamworth is a major picking depot, operating 24/7 and employing more than 400 colleagues, with a fleet of more than 60 vehicles. The depot serves major convenience retailers in the region.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What You'll Be Doing</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working Any 5 from 7, you will lead around 250 colleagues in the Warehouse team, including 3 Warehouse Shift Managers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will ensure the correct products are selected for distribution to customers in a timely manner and ensure compliance with required standards by:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Continuously monitoring all operational processes and the overall working environment to ensure that all activities comply with food safety standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitor and review rotas to ensure that staff availability and alignment fits with the</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements of the department and training operational needs</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Promote a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) culture within the department, ensuring compliance with all elements of the health and safety procedures and management system to promote a safe working environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure training is planned, recorded and managed for staff in accordance with agreed training matrices</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage waste levels to a minimum to manage costs</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide Leadership and direction to the team to ensure that they are appropriately trained, operate to Group policy standards and performance is maximised</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitoring operational performance trends to ensure that delivery meets agreed customer and Greencore standards and that opportunities for performance improvement are rapidly identified and implementedWhat we're looking for</p>
