Driver Trainer

<p class="text-muted mb-3">About The Role:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We’re looking for a proactive Driver Trainer to keep our warehouse operations running smoothly and ensure every customer receives their appliance on time. You’ll take ownership of preparing delivery and installation runs each morning, monitoring progress throughout the day, and resolving any issues quickly and professionally.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands-on role where you’ll support our self-loading depot, ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant, and provide ongoing assistance to our Drivers, Quality, and People teams. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Start and finish time: Flexible</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shift pattern: Monday-Friday</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Job Type: 12 Month FTC</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Location: Unit 1, The Heights,Cranbourne Industrial Estate,Cranbourne Road, Potters Bar, EN6 3JN</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prepare and oversee daily delivery and installation runs to ensure timely dispatch.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3"> Monitor operations throughout the day, resolving issues promptly to maintain service standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3"> Check all vehicles leaving the depot for security, legality, and compliance with transport legislation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3"> Complete daily in-house reports for the Depot Manager.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3"> Support and guide drivers, handling queries professionally and efficiently.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3"> Conduct alcohol testing when required and ensure compliance with company policies.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3"> Manage transhipping and reloads to keep operations flowing smoothly.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3"> Debrief vehicles returning from delivery and installation runs, addressing any issues or damages.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3"> Ability to build positive relationships under pressure and maintain professionalism.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3"> Confident decision-making skills when the Depot Manager is unavailable.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3"> Quick problem-solving ability and adaptability to changing situations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3"> Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3"> Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.</p>
