<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Driver.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3"> </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be responsible for the safe, accurate and timely delivery of assembled products and invoices to customers, working in line with the client’s operational and corporate standards.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities </h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Drive safely and competently at all times, adhering to road traffic regulations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out daily vehicle safety checks (lights, brakes, coolant, etc.)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Report any faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays promptly</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the vehicle (inside and out)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure sufficient fuel is taken for the day’s route</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain security of the vehicle and its contents at all times</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Check drop sheets and ensure all orders are correctly loaded</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Collect returned goods, delivery bins and mail and return them safely to the branch</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Deal with damages or breakages correctly, including following Hazchem procedures where required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain a smart and professional appearance</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Build and maintain positive customer relationships</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assist with warehouse or other operational duties as required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comply with all Health & Safety</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Licence points considered on a case-by-case basis</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good verbal and written communication skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong customer service skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Basic numeracy and literacy</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Team-focused with a proactive and reliable approach</p>
