<p class="text-muted mb-3">Looking for a long-term FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative role within engineering rather than a busy distribution warehouse?</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting for a Counterbalance / Reach FLT Driver to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Markham Vale.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a varied warehouse and stock-based role, covering everything from Goods In and stock management through to dispatch, picking, wrapping and packing customer orders. You’ll also be responsible for safely moving heavy steel, alloy and engineering materials around the site using FLT equipment and supporting production where required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role would suit experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers, Reach Truck Drivers, Warehouse Operatives, Stores Operatives, Materials Handlers, Stock Controllers and Dispatch Operatives looking for a stable Monday to Friday position with long-term prospects.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working Hours</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Week 1</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Friday: 6:00am – 10:00am</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Week 2</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Friday: 10:00am – 2:00pm</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pay: £13.27 per hour</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT to move and store heavy steel, alloy and engineering materials.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Receiving, checking and booking in incoming deliveries.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Managing stock and ensuring materials are stored correctly.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Picking, wrapping and physically packing customer orders for dispatch.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Preparing and loading orders ready for collection/delivery.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Moving materials safely between warehouse and production areas.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Checking delivery notes, stock levels and paperwork.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting Goods In, Goods Out and general warehouse duties.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What We're Looking For</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Warehouse, Stores, Goods In, Dispatch or Manufacturing experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable with physical work, manual handling and moving heavy materials.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good attention to detail when checking stock, orders and deliveries.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reliable, safety-conscious and willing to get involved across the warehouse.</p>
